President for a Day*

You will visit the website and become President for a day. You will keep a schedule of all the presidential decisions that you make. After completing the day, you will write a journal entry including a summary for each action or activity that you have chosen during your day as president.
Scoring Rubric
| 4 | Students researched the activities of a president and wrote a creative, original journal entry demonstrating knowledge of the duties of a president. Paragraphs are well-written and accurate information is clearly presented. |
| 3 | Students researched the activities of a president and wrote an interesting, original journal entry demonstrating knowledge of the duties of the president. Paragraphs are fairly well-written and information is presented with some elaboration. |
| 2 | Students researched the activities of a president and wrote an acceptable diary entry demonstrating some knowledge of the duties of a president. Paragraphs lack details and information is presented with little elaboration. |
